Traveling along the Boulevard del Atlántico until reaching what is now the “Mirador”, the coast of Las Terrenas, with its 22 kilometers of virgin beaches, opens to the eyes of tourists with the green of the large ferns that descend in waterfalls from above, meeting palm trees directly on the beaches, which have remained uncontaminated, in some places, since the arrival of Columbus.
Over the years, the territory has changed little. Below us a typical fishing village opens up to our view, with its narrow streets and its colorful wooden houses, where the tourist finds all the typical products of the area, where the aroma of roasted coffee is breathed through the streets of the center You can find the exotic fruit in bunches for sale at the entrance of the shops, while, on the beach in the center, the fishermen sell the fruit of their daily catch. The small wooden boats, in bright colors, offer a beautiful spectacle thrown dry on the sand, while in the distance comes the sound of the waves breaking on the coral reef.
“Under the blue lighthouse, the BLU TERRENAS project opens in all its splendor”.
On the hill facing the sea, about 300 meters high, on an enveloping structure, with sinuous contours, as well as the nature of the place, about 30 meters high, a blue light envelops the top, radiating the surrounding nature with its rays and all parts of the territory, symbol of what will be the socio-economic and tourist development of the area.
